 It would be fair to say that my accordions have seen among the worst treatment that any instrument has ever seen. The number of flights and far flung gigs we do mean that the poor box is subjected to the harsh and unruly hands of many, many baggage handlers and climatic conditions that are far from ideal for such a delicate instrument. Since I began a working relationship with Rolston accordions
(X) years ago, I have had an unsurpassed level of support and service from them.
Robert has been at the end of the phone for emergency guidance when I've been stuck in the wilds of Alaska or Spain.. he has travelled miles to carry out emergency surgery onsite, allowing me to get up and running minutes before a gig. (Once it was a couple of hours before a live TV show!)

I watched in awe as he dismantled my bass mechanism in poor lighting conditions using makeshift tools, and carried out a  running repair 30 minutes before show time on our recent Scottish tour.
Then comes the back up service to make sure the instrument is 100% before the next tour.

The staff at Rolston accordions in Bellshill, likewise, welcome my bruised accordion and nurse it back to health at the drop of a hat. Always at short notice and always with a smile.

I am in Robert and his staff's debt many times over, as is Aly Bain and the countless members of the audience who go home with no idea of the drama that has unfolded between the airport and the gig.
